1. What kind of items are sold at The Bella Notte Outlet Online?

Items represented on the Outlet website include Outlet Exclusives and First Quality Discontinued items.

2. How do you decide what items to put online?

We select items for our online store that are First Quality and Outlet Exclusives only.

  • First Quality Discontinued items are products, colors, and/or fabrics that were once in the line, but have been discontinued for at least a season. They have no noticeable damage, but because they have already been dyed may not perfectly match any item from a separate dye lot.
  • Outlet Exclusives are items that were never in the line (for instance a duvet made out of a fabric that was never introduced), special cuts (a sham or throw pillow made out of the end cut of a coverlet), or specialty sizes. These are all made especially for our Outlet customers.

 

3. Why are Bella Notte Outlet items so heavily discounted?

As a manufacturer we frequently have extra fabric, end cuts, and sample yardage at our disposal. Instead of discarding or storing these items, we move them over to our Outlet for Bella Notte fans to peruse and add to their collections. A large part of our unique manufacturing process includes garment-dying our products, which allows customers to have multiple pieces in the same harmonic tone. However because every item at the Outlet has already been dyed, we cannot guarantee that it will perfectly match another item. And once we discontinue a fabric or product we can no longer offer it at its previous retail price. Because of these reasons we are able to offer amazing deals on our couture pieces.

4. Can I receive a discount after a sale has ended? Can coupon codes be combined?

Discount Codes must be entered when the order is placed in order to receive the discount. No discount code credits will be issued after the order is placed. Combining of coupon codes is prohibited. Sale prices are for the term of the sale only for products that are listed online only.

5. What if I receive an item that is damaged? Can I return it?

If you are unhappy with your product or it is not what you expected, please let us know within 15 days of receipt of goods to file a claim. We will happily exchange the item as inventory allows, and while we will accept a return up to 30 days after purchase. Product must be unused and unwashed in it's original packaging and condition. We have a 10% restocking fee on all returns.

6. I can't find the item I'm looking for, but I know I saw it at the Outlet.

We try to post new items and update our inventory weekly. If you saw something online that is no longer there, it's possible the item has sold out. If you saw it in the Oultet and don't see it available online, it may be because it is a Factory Second, or we haven't posted it yet. You can email special requests to us via our CONTACT US page and we'll see if we can locate the item for you. Serious inquiries only.

7. I have questions related to placing an order, can I speak to someone?

If you need to speak to Customer Service, you can call 415-883-3434. For product inquiries or to talk with Outlet Store staff you can call 415-884-2146. Hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm PST Tuesday through Saturday. Please note that the brick and mortar store is only open Thursday through Saturday.

8. How long will it take to ship my purchase?

We ship all of our products directly via USPS, FEDEX or UPS. Please allow 7-14 days for receipt of your goods. We will try to get them to you as soon as possible.

9. My curtains have faded, why?

We use natural dyes that are susceptible to fading if exposed to natural sunlight over a long period of time. We recommend that curtains in direct sunlight be used with a curtain liner or that window blinds be used to cut down on the exposure.

 

10. I have noticed variation in the fabric or color, why?

Variations in color, weave or texture of our products are a characteristic of both the fabric and our unique manufacturing and dye processes, and are not considered defects. There will be some minor differences of a products color due to the absorbency or density of a particular piece of fabric. There may also be some minor variation due to different dye lots. We control these factors as much as we can. Cotton, Satin, Silk Velvet, and Linen absorb dye in different ways depending on the weave or fiber content. We make every attempt to color match for each order. Such variations add to the natural beauty of your Bella Notte product.

11. Why are measurements not listed for every item?

While the product will fit the size indicated on the listing, we don't include the measurements because each individual piece can vary. If the exact dimensions are important to your purchase, please email us and we will measure the product for you.

12. Why should I come into the Outlet if everything is online?

While we are excited to offer hundreds of our products online, there are still THOUSANDS more available at our Outlet store! Inventory is constantly changing and we reserve our seasonal discounts for walk in customers. Jenny, our Outlet expert, is available every Thursday, Friday and Saturday to help you find what you're looking for. We love being able to showcase our wares at bellanotteoutlet.com, but nothing beats exploring in person!

13. Do you charge Sales Tax?

Sales tax is only required for orders shipping to destinations where we have or may have nexus for state tax purposes under applicable laws. The states are highlighted and all orders shipping to California, Texas, and Washington will be charged state sales tax according to the rates appropriate for the specific jurisdiction where the shipment is sent.

14. Do you ship Internationally?

We are currently shipping to the following countries via the USPS: Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France and the U.K.. The USPS does not provide full visibility of International packages in transit. Time in transit may vary depending on customs inspections and the speed of the Post Office in each country. We can only provide a rough estimate of delivery date. We do not provide free international shipping.

15. Sale and Coupon Exclusions

There are certain items which are excluded from sales, discounts and coupon codes. These are Pillow Inserts, Laundress Detergents, Bed Skirt Pins, and all Buttons.
